Little Paws of Mt. Vernon is dedicated to the well-being of cats and kittens within Jefferson County, IL. We provide a safe haven, compassionate care, and a chance for a brighter future for every feline that enters our doors. We are a no-kill rescue. We nurse our pets back to health physically and socially to prepare them for their new homes. We promote low-cost spay and neuter services to the community to cut down on cat overpopulation in our area. Our rescue's goal is pulling cats that are scheduled for euthanasia in kill shelters. We do this by partnering with local animal control facilities to ensure that we can pull cats that are about to be put down.
