At North Star Rescue we want every dog to live the life they deserve. From the time we rescue them, we not only provide them with the necessities, shelter, food, medical treatment and training, but also the love of being part of a family, or pack as Maandee likes to call it. The goal is to get the dogs physically and mentally ready for their forever homes. We strive to make the journey the best we can not only for the sake of the dogs, but also for their future families. We are generally known to take in the “underdogs”. Those with behavioral issues or extreme medical issues that make it difficult for them to find forever homes. In those cases they join the North Star Sanctuary pack and live their lives out with us on a beautiful farm. Every dog deserves a home.
