Litters ‘n Critters Rescue Society is a not-for-profit, 100% volunteer all breed dog rescue located in Nova Scotia, Canada. We do not receive grants or funding; we rely solely on fundraising and public donations to help offset the medical and any other costs we incur for our rescue dogs. We do not have a shelter; we are wholly dependent on the foster care system. Our foster families are completely screened, very experienced and well versed in assessing their foster dogs while they are in their foster homes. We rescue dogs of any breed, size, age and sex. Saving the life of dogs is our passion, we do not shy away from medical cases, we will help dogs who need surgeries and those who don’t.
