Silver Fur K9 Rescue & Retirement is a privately owned 501c3 Senior Dog Rescue. So many times unfortunately when a person passes away their beloved dog (mostly seniors) go to a shelter where they have a very low chance of being adopted. The stress at a shelter affects a senior dog also. We have a facility that resembles a home like atmosphere,  there are mattresses and tv throughout the building.  We make sure the senior dogs get medical attention and then they are placed up for adoption.  If for some medical or social reason a dog can't be adopted, they live out their retirement with us being loved and enjoying life. The donations help with medical bills, food and medications as well as utilities and maintenance costs. We truly appreciate any donations small or large as every dollar helps. 100% of donations to Silver Fur goes to the rescue dogs as we take no salary or payment. Remember to adopt a senior dog, they have so much love to give.
