Our vision is for 'A vibrant, active and aware community united to reduce the impact and incidence of suicide'. Our mission is 'To empower the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle community through connection and information about suicide prevention and mental wellbeing. We do this through education, advocacy and walking alongside those with lived experience.

We are seeking to connect suicide prevention and mental health services with community in a vision that links all strategies for positive mental health together with one purpose, to prevent suicide. We strongly believe that suicide prevention strategies need to be holistic, ongoing and purposeful. That is, providing education and backing it up with ongoing support, resources, health promotion and community based activity. It is also vital that the strategy involves whole of community, rather than a single agency response, so that the suicide prevention response comes from a wide ranging section of community.
