HelpingMinds offers free Mental Health Education, Services and Carer Support across Western Australia.

With nearly 50 years of service, we understand that living with mental health challenges can be a difficult and isolating experience, not only for the person experiencing mental health challenges but also their loved ones.

We provide a wide range of mental health services including

• Mental health education programs for schools, workplaces and the community

• Recovery College that provides students with the knowledge and tools to find the most meaning, confidence and enjoyment in day-to-day life

• Individualised support services for people with a psychosocial disability

• Early intervention programs for young people aged between 7 and 17 who have emotional or social difficulties or are at risk of developing a mental health challenge*

*Available to young people living in City of Swan, Geraldton, Carnarvon, Broome

• Carer Advocacy – Helping family members to understand their rights as carers

• Counselling

• Support groups and workshops

• School Holiday and after school programs for young carers

• Carer Peer support

• Carer Respite

HelpingMinds delivers Carer Gateway services in the South West and Mid West regions of Western Australia, assisting carers with registration and planning support.
