Hoover Helps is a small nonprofit and our mission is to help meet the basic needs of children in Hoover Alabama. One of our primary projects is our backpack feeding programs. The backpack programs deliver food to over 500 children in Hoover that are considered to be food insecure. Many children don't have food at home. The backpack programs send food home each weekend so these children have food to eat.
