We aim to provide sanctuary to horses that are at risk given their age, health issues, neglect, or abandonment. We want to keep these horses out of the slaughter pipeline. We seek to educate the public about the tremendous worth of these older equines. They are not "throw-away" horses! We give them a permanent home where they can live out the rest of their lives in comfort, loved and cared for. We added 2 BLM burros, 2 goats, and approximately 57 feral kitties to our rescue. We are feeding, spaying and neutering the kitties and attempting to gentle them that we may find good homes for them. 42 remain here in sanctuary, 15 have been rehomed, and we have 7 more to spay and neuter.
