The Holdenville Animal Lover's Organization, Inc. (HALO) was founded in 2017 as a fundraising entity to support the City of Holdenville Animal Shelter. Our mission is to help animals in need and promote animal adoption. HALO purchases cleaning supplies, food, all veterinary care, including spay and neutering. No animal is adopted out unless it has been fully vetted. The organization also built a new building used as an office, quarantine and laundry facility. Purchased new indoor & outdoor kennels, rebuilt outside runs and added concrete floors under the outside kennels. HALO also transports animals within Oklahoma and to other states to rescues. Volunteers help with various tasks at the shelter involving cleaning and caring for the animals. We save 250 animals a year and could not do it without your support!
