The Network for Developing Conscious Communities (NDCC) is a Black-led, community-based organization dedicated to advancing economic justice, health equity, and community wealth-building. NDCC works to strengthen communities by promoting cooperative ownership, supporting Black-led enterprises, developing affordable cooperative housing, and investing in leadership development across generations.

Through education, convening, technical assistance, and ecosystem-building, NDCC brings together residents, practitioners, policymakers, and institutions to create community-driven solutions rooted in shared ownership, democratic participation, and long-term sustainability. NDCC’s work spans cooperative education and incubation, population health initiatives, youth workforce development, and policy advocacy—connecting economic development to improved health and social outcomes.
