Hedgehog Bottom is a small, 100% voluntary rescue and rehabilitation charity for hedgehogs in West Berkshire/ Operating since 2007, we are now taking in up to 700 wild, native hedgehogs each year. Working in conjunction with our vets we have a 90%+ success rate.

• In addition to the wild hedgehogs we are also dealing with the exotic hedgehogs people no longer want as pets; African Pygmy Hogs, Long Eared Desert Hogs and Egyptians must be kept separate from the wilds, their care is completely different, and release is not possible so we have set up a rehoming service

• We are in the process of uprating our power supply and refurbishing our small hospital building to make it easier for our volunteers with special needs to work with the animals.
