Hammersley Homes was established to provide support for life for adults who suffer from enduring mental illness and distress. Our successful and much in demand Outreach Scheme offers home visits to our clients in their own homes to reduce loneliness, offer friendship and help with anything they may be struggling with such as budgeting, dealing with mail, online access, filling in forms, benefits, shopping or just going out for a walk or a drive. Alongside this, we are developing a nationwide network of supported homes for life for those who find it hard to live independently. Many of these vulnerable people live with their families who one day won’t be there for them, and who worry always about who will love and care for their children when they are gone. The answer is: we will. Our homes will be fully supported 24/7 and offer friendship and safety, with staff to monitor medication, giving their families peace of mind in the knowledge that we are there to love and care for their struggling loved ones, always.
