Fur Angel Rescue Shelter is a new and upcoming rescue in Toledo, Ohio. Currently, foster-based with the goal of being brick and mortar.Fur Angel Rescue Shelter is an approved IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit. FARS is NO-KILL unless medically necessary. We provide food, shelter, medical treatment, and are in loving foster homes until they find a perfect forever home. We do not receive any state or federal funding and rely on the support from the community to help homeless animals.

Our mission is to provide temporary and long-term shelter and vet care for homeless dogs and cats. To promote animal welfare education, reduce the overpopulation with a mandatory spay/neuter program, promote adopting vs buying from a breeder, provide necessary veterinary care, and we value our "no-kill" policy unless medically/behaviorally necessary. Every animal deserves a chance.
