About My Autism Connection

My Autism Connection (MAC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering autistic adults ages 18 and older throughout Southwest Florida. Founded to address the significant gap in services that often occurs after high school, MAC provides meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, and independence.

Through social engagement, experiential learning, skill-building programs, and career development opportunities, we help autistic adults build confidence, develop healthy relationships, and strengthen the skills needed for work and everyday life. Our programs are designed to support the whole person, recognizing that independence looks different for everyone.

Led by a passionate team of staff, interns, volunteers, and community partners, MAC uses research-informed practices to create inclusive experiences where members can learn, connect, and thrive. By fostering community involvement and personal development, we help autistic adults transition from dependence to greater independence while building fulfilling lives and meaningful connections.
