Fixing the Boro is a Georgia state licensed, 501(c)3 foster based animal rescue located in Statesboro, Ga. We focus primarily on helping local cats and dogs in need, but have added a small animals division in 2020 to specialize in rabbits/guinea pigs, and other misc. small animals. We opened a low cost spay/neuter clinic in May 2020, and have since altered over 3,400 animals in total. We partner with multiple rescues, both near and far, to get a greater number of animals safely into rescue from over 6 local animal shelters, and our community. We intake roughly 1,200 animals a year that are either adopted locally or transported to afore mentioned rescue partners. Fixing the Boro strives to build community education and awareness for overall bettered and more responsible pet ownership, and has college campus liaisons in both Savannah and Statesboro, and is constantly working to get out into our community to make a lasting difference.
