Cerebral Palsy Alberta (CPAA) is a registered non-profit organization that supports people affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities in the province of Alberta. The CPAA is a visionary organization who has been serving Albertans since its inception in 1976. We are committed to an environment of dignity, integrity and respect. We put people first and promote diversity, independence and full citizenship. We are committed to excellence, effectiveness and accountability. Over the years, the CPAA has established itself as a leader in the delivery of programs and services for people with disabilities. As a proactive and innovative organization, we ensure that our members are valued, respected and treated with dignity. We provide informed, compassionate support services; educational programs; employment and youth transition services; recreation and leisure opportunities and community advocacy for our members. The CPAA offers a variety of Therapeutic Programs and Services to our clients. The types of programs offered include music therapy, dance, art, yoga, swimming, aqua therapy and horticultural therapy as well as cooking and computer classes. These programs and services are tailored to benefit specific age groups and are available to individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, serving clients in Calgary and Edmonton and surrounding areas. Additionally, a series of NEW online programs are now available for any age group that focus on fitness, yoga, music wellness, art as well as meet-up groups and parent support groups.
