Five Counties Children’s Centre helps children with physical, communication and developmental needs. We work with children and adolescents, along with their families and the community, to strengthen their abilities and promote their participation as active members of the community. We treat clients from infancy to their late teens, offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy speech and language therapy and more.

In partnership with families and communities, Five Counties provides outpatient and community-based services with the aim of enriching the independence and wellness of those it serves. This helps build the skills our clients need in everyday life such as walking and talking.

The need for life-changing therapies grows every year and some children have to wait, falling further behind. We currently have 2,400 children and their families waiting for service at our sites in Peterborough County, Northumberland, City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton and Minden.

Five Counties raises funds so more kids and their families can receive these important services. This ensures children have access to help when they need help the most.
