"Making a difference one feline at a time through TNR (trap, neuter, return)" Feral Cat Support targets the root of the overpopulation crisis through trap, neuter, return. TNR prevents thousands of unwanted kittens from being born into a world where there are far too many. Up to 80% of kittens are born outside to community cats (cats without a home). Feral Cat Support gets these community cats spayed, neutered, flea treated, vaccinated and then returned to their outdoor home, preventing thousands of kittens from being born. Resources are needed for traps, crates, carriers, litter, cat food, gas cards for trappers and transporters, vet bills. Money from prevention trickles down to less kittens being born, less spay and neuter appointments, less cats suffering on the streets, and overall reducing the number of cats and kittens languishing in our local county shelter. TNR ends the cycle.
