East Anglian Air Ambulance’s highly trained doctors, critical care paramedics, and pilots are on hand 24 hours a day for people caught in the most urgent medical emergencies. Travelling swiftly to the patient’s side, our skilled clinicians deliver treatments usually only found in specialist emergency departments: blood transfusions, advanced pain relief, sedation, anaesthesia, surgeries and more.An independent charity, EAAA is tasked by the Ambulance Service when the situation demands elevated levels of care: cardiac arrests, serious road traffic incidents, and traumatic injuries. Though they represent only a fraction of the Ambulance Service’s daily calls, the impact of these incidents on our community can be devastating if specialist critical care does not arrive quickly.For local people in such desperate situations, our rapid response can be the difference between their worst day and their last. Through the expertise of our crew and the equipment at their disposal, we guarantee the best possible chance of survival and recovery against overwhelming odds.
