We are a charity that rescues unwanted pet pigs and give them a safe & loving home. Rehabilitating emotionally, socially and physically where needed. We form trust bonds with these highly intelligent and sentient animals and give them the chance of the life that they have been bred for. Sometimes it can take years to build that trust, repair the damage from previous circumstances but we never give up on any of our rescued animals. Some have been mistreated, abused, neglected or have lost their homes. Pigs are incredibly hard to re-home and are often simply euthenased through no fault of their own. We are the only exclusively porcine charity that is registered with the CC of England & Wales and are one of a handful that exist in the UK.

Alongside and in harmony with our porcine rescue, we nurture mental health, wellbeing and education for humankind, teaching them the value of sharing our planet, connecting with animals and nature, whilst improving the quality of human life. We give knowledge for people to make their own informed choices a decisions. We are not a commercial place and never exploit our animals through breeding programmes or showing, they are free to live their lives, engage naturally with others both human and animal which, in turn, enriches their lives as they thrive from attention, love and the security of a safe place, just like us.

We preserve the wildlife and environment around the sanctuary, encouraging all our inhabitants to enjoy life in our corner of the world, leaving muntjac trails intact, big hibernation areas, planting wild flower gardens to encourage our insect population etc. It is an oasis of peace and kindness that has a ripple effect outwards to so many.
