Australia CAN is a registered charity representing companion animal welfare work across Australia.
Our six members provide rescue, shelter, rehoming, foster care, health care and enrichment services to more than 50,000
animals every year.
Australia CAN is committed to:
· Raising funds to support homeless animals to find new homes and start new lives.
· Advocating for the place of companion animals in our families, communities, aged care and the workplace through pet friendly
programs
· Always treasuring the human-animal bond, keeping pets and their carers together wherever possible
Our members are the Animal Welfare League of South Australia, Animal Welfare League of Queensland, Lort Smith in Victoria, Dogs Homes’ of Tasmania and SAFE Inc in Western Australia, Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. Together we have more than 300 years of combined experience in caring for animals in need.
