Children’s Emergency Move From Abuse (CEMFA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping mothers and children safely escape domestic violence and rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and hope.

When a family makes the brave decision to leave an abusive environment, the most urgent need is often safe relocation and immediate support. CEMFA provides emergency assistance to help families move quickly out of dangerous situations and into secure housing where healing can begin. We help remove the financial and logistical barriers that often keep women and children trapped in abuse.
