At Chica Project, we believe in a future where every young Woman of Color has access to the education, experiences, and guidance required to realize her true potential through dedicated leadership development, which is fostered by a community of intergenerational mentors of color. We intentionally focus on nourishing our participants’ personal growth as well as their physical and mental health. We foster an environment where young, urban Women of Color can understand their history and culture, and build the confidence necessary to pursue their personal and professional goals through the support of peer network and accomplished, caring adults.
