Code Platoon is a 501(c)3 Chicago based nonprofit helping veterans and military spouses transition into the civilian workforce by providing technical training and career placement. Our program is offered full-time and part-time, with options to attend in-person through our Chicago classroom, and remotely anywhere a student has reliable internet connection. Upon graduation, our students are eligible for paid internships through our corporate sponsor companies and preferred hiring partners. During these unprecedented times and as we think about moving from the response phase to the recovery phase of COVID-19, we know our program will fill an important need for many veterans and military spouses. When it's hard to secure a job, many will look to programs like Code Platoon to gain new skills to increase their chances of finding a career when the job market and economy opens back up. We are ready and waiting to welcome more students to our program and provide a safe space for them to land while the world settles out.
