Camp Harbor View is a program for Boston youth who face systemic and institutional obstacles to wellness and success. Serving 1,100 youth each year through three pillar programs: Summer Camp, Leadership Academy and Youth and Family Support Services. Camp Harbor View offers an outstanding summer camp experience on Long Island in Boston Harbor to middle school youth each summer. A typical day includes a wide array of activities for young people and also provides programs and support not typically found at a summer camp, such as free round- trip transportation, breakfast, lunch and dinner, free dental and vision screenings, career exploration; and experiential learning. Our programs for high school youth continue throughout the school year at our location in Boston’s South End. Camp Harbor View’s Leadership Academy provides young people with the tools and resources they need to be successful in high school and beyond. It includes two programs: 9th Grade RISE Program and Leader in Training Program for teens in grades 10–12. All programs are supported by the Camp Harbor View Youth and Family Support team. Led by our in-house, licensed, counseling staff, Camp Harbor View provides wrap-around support and resources to youth and families in need.
