Gunyah is a 130 acre safe haven for animals who have suffered from abuse, neglect, illness or exploitation. Here they are given the loving care that they need and the time to recover from their past traumas, in a serene environment where they can live the rest of their days out peacefully. The Sanctuary is currently home to cows, horses, ponies, alpacas, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats and there is also an abundance of wildlife who choose to call this land home. Although large in size, Gunyah is run by one woman who has devoted much of her life to helping animals in need. With much of Kathy's time spent caring for the residents and maintaining their home, she has little time left to raise funds for this charity which relies on public support to survive.
