The CHAMP1 Research Foundation is proud to serve the families and children affected with mutations to their CHAMP1 gene. The community consists of 94 families from 21 different countries all over the world. We have different cultures and languages, but the group manages to communicate with one another on a Facebook support group on a daily basis. We all share many things in common, most importantly the desire to build a brighter future for our children. Our kids we serve suffer from intellectual disability, autism, epilepsy, cancer, hypotonia, among many other diagnoses. The goal is to serve our children by improving their quality of care, ultimately to find treatments and a cure.
