The Cedar Key Dolphin Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the dolphins of Cedar Key and the surrounding Nature Coast of Florida. Since 2001, its mission has been to research the resident bottlenose dolphins that spend their entire lives in the waters around Cedar Key and to educate the public in the importance of this species.
