The Cat’s Meow Resource and Adoption Center. Our organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving the lives of cats that are surrendered to us. The Cat’s Meow Resource and Adoption Center is Las Cruces' first permanent, feline-only adoption center. Here, you'll find cats of all ages, shapes, sizes and colors. Despite their differences, we can assure you that all of them are healthy, sociable, and ready for permanent, loving homes! Our Mission… The Cat’s Meow Resource and Adoption Center (CMAC) is the result of the collaboration between five ardent animal advocates with more than five decades of combined experience in feline welfare. They realized that, in addition to needing an additional Adoption venue in Southern New Mexico, education in animal welfare was also needed.
