About us
The backbone of a healthy, thriving community is the family. When families are trapped in cycles of abuse, poverty, lack of education, unemployment and illness they believe that there is no hope for them.
CTF assists Hijos de Dios Community Centre in Guatemala to provide a peaceful and transformative place where families can receive care, love, training, counselling and healing.
Our Ultimate Goals:
To bring healing to the lives of Guatemalan families.
Restore their ability to trust and have healthy relationships.
To see families reconciled, healed and the cycle of abuse, neglect and poverty broken.
We impact families and communities through:
Our Special Education Centres, Centres of Learning, Parenting Classes, Family Counselling, Sports and Dance Programs, Afterschool Tutoring, Early Childhood Education, Community Visitation, Sewing Trades School, Healthy Family Events, Training Community Leaders, Micro Businesses, Programs for Fathers, Mothers, Children and Families and Community Networking
