Brake is a UK based road safety charity dedicated to preventing road death and injury and supporting those bereaved and injured in road crashes.  There are five people die on UK roads every day.   Brake work tirelessly to campaign, educate and supporting bereaved families.   We campaign the government for law changes to ensure our roads are safer (including lowering the drink drive limit, tougher sentences for drivers who kill etc); We educate in schools, pre-school environments, companies, fleet organisations and communities;  We support bereaved families through our dedicated bereavement helpline and acclaimed bereavement support literature.
