Brake, the road safety charity
About us
Brake is a national road safety charity working to prevent road deaths and injuries and make communities safer. We also provide free support to families who have been bereaved and injured in crashes.
We coordinate activities such as Road Safety Week and the Australasian Fleet Safety Awards. We provide free tools and resources to educators to support teaching road safety, to fleet and health & safety professionals to help them address road risk with at-work drivers, and to communities who are campaigning for local improvements to road safety.
We provide free support books on coping with grief to adults and children who have been bereaved in road crashes.
A donation to Brake helps to ensure our support resources remain free of charge to families, and help to keep our road safety resources free or low-cost for educators and communities.
