Abuse, isolation, self-harm, low self-esteem and poor health. These are major issues experienced every day by lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people as a consequence of the discrimination LGBT communities around the world still face. We are a grassroots charity embedded in the centre of Birmingham, delivering services and offering support to the LGBT community here for almost 20 years. We’re working to provide essential sexual health testing and advice, reduce isolation and foster community among older LGBT people and supporting those suffering as a result of abuse and discrimination. We’re also delivering crucial equality training to other organisations, helping LGBT people improve their mental and physical well being and celebrating LGBT artists and performers with one of the largest queer arts & culture festival outside of London.
