Belmont Families is a local school charity, 7 of whom are the charity trustees, responsible for the management and control of Belmont Families and are supported by class reps and parent/carer and teacher volunteers. The charity meets approximately 5 times a year and more regularly in smaller Committee working groups for specific events.

The purpose of the association is to advance the education of all pupils in the school in particular by:

a) Raising funds for school enrichment activities, ensuring an equal experience for all children, including those who are disadvantaged. b) Celebrating and promoting our diverse school community to create a friendly, inclusive environment c) Providing extra opportunities to have fun at school d) Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school Belmont Families exists to support both Belmont Infant School and Belmont Junior School equally.
