We are a UK registered Charity working to alleviate the huge level of animal suffering of street animals in Sri Lanka. There are an estimated 3 million street dogs in Sri Lanka, many of whon are suffering immensely through neglect, disease, malnutrition and abuse. We provide a vital lifeline to 1000's of street dogs and cats in Sri Lanka. Providing free veterinary care to sick and injured dogs and cats, rehabilitation, refuge to 1900 dogs and 60 cats. We operate adoption schemes, feeding rounds for strays, outreach and educational programs where we provide free neutering, rabies vaccinations for pets of poor villagers as well as stray animals. We give hydrotherapy to our disabled dogs in the Indian ocean and feed in excess of 2000 cats and dogs a day. We nurse animals back from the very brink 356 days a year. Without us these animals are doomed to agonizing, lonely deaths. We are one of the largest sanctuaries for street animals in the world and give countless dogs and cats a second chance in life.
