Every dog deserves a second chance, and the right home to go with it. All Points West GSP Rescue gives German Shorthaired Pointers (GSPs), Pointers, and Pointer mixes both. Our dogs come from shelters and rescue partners across Colorado and neighboring states, as well as from owners who can no longer care for them or whose circumstances are no longer the right fit for the dog.

Rather than placing dogs in a shelter or kennel, we place them in foster homes, where we get to know each dog’s personality, needs, strengths, and challenges. Dogs may also receive veterinary care or training for socialization or other behavioral needs, so they’re better prepared for adoption.

Our goal isn’t simply to find homes for dogs. It’s to find the right match. We get to know each dog and each potential adopter, weighing the dog’s personality, needs, and history alongside the adopter’s lifestyle and expectations. We act as matchmakers, creating the best possible fit for a lasting relationship.

Since 2016, we’ve placed over 700 dogs in forever homes. Your donation helps cover veterinary care, training, and foster support so every dog can get the time and care they need. Thank you for helping us give these dogs a second chance.
