We are a 501(c)(3) rescue and operate solely on donations. Our focus is on all extra-large breed dogs that are 80 pounds and up. Our goal is to rescue XL dogs who are homeless, abandoned, or neglected dogs.

Mission

XL Canine Rescue is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to create a better life for

homeless, abandoned, and neglected XL breed dogs by fostering, rehabilitating, and placing

them in their well-matched forever home. XLCR began operating full time in 2021 and we are a

volunteer-based rescue. Our rescue places dogs in foster homes to build trust, maintain

happiness and ensure they are healthy prior to adoption.

At XLCR our vision is to become the most respected XL breed rescue. To achieve this

goal, we must maintain integrity, transparency, teamwork, communication, and respect. Here at

XLCR you will find that we value every one of our volunteers and your opinions do matter.
