Sugar Mutts Rescue / Skymeadow Farm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, and/or providing lifelong sanctuary to vulnerable dogs, cats, and farm animals. As a working farm sanctuary, the organization provides a safe, enriched refuge for animals that have experienced neglect, abandonment, or hardship. It does not breed, “show,” or use animals for monetary gain, food, or labor. Its dual rescue-and-sanctuary model ensures that adoptable animals are placed in carefully screened homes, while those who are not adoptable receive permanent, compassionate lifelong care. To sustain its mission, Sugar Mutts Rescue / Skymeadow Farm operates short-term, all-season cabin rentals on the property, with 100% of proceeds directly funding animal care. Guests and visitors gain firsthand insight into the beauty of farm life while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of animal rescue.
