CREATING MORE LOVING HOMES FOR FAMILY VIOLENCE SURVIVORS AND THEIR CHILDRENOur visionTo break the cycle of family violence in Aotearoa, NZ, one loving home at a timeWe are a dedicated community taking positive action against family violence.Leaving a violent relationship is not the end, but the beginning of a new, profoundly challenging journey. Survivors are safe, but often face the stark reality of moving into an empty house without any financial means to furnish it or rebuild their lives.This is where we step in. We gather pre-loved furniture and homewares, along with new essential items purchased from financial donations, to fully furnish homes at no cost to families.Our volunteers carefully select, deliver, and set up homes tailored to each family. We’ve been in operation since 2019, and are now furnishing an average of four homes a week, with demand sadly growing. Our commitment is unwavering, but we need ongoing community support to continue. Donors are the heartbeat of our service.
