WHC holds a cooperative agreement with NDA to help manage over 3,000 wild horses on the Virginia Range located near Reno, NV. Just this year we have responded to over 670 calls from the community, law enforcement and land owners of horses needing help. We provide emergency feeding to over 1,300 horses, provide water resources, rescue abandoned foals, injured horses, re seeding of the range,  install fencing to keep the horses away from our community streets to help reduce the vehicle vs horse accidents working with the county, city and developers. We have adopted out over 30 horses to loving forever homes. WHC is an all volunteer non profit and donations are mostly funded by the community that sees what we do. Receiving any amount of donation will help us continue to help make our communites and horses live in a safer enviroment.
