The Rescue is based in Liverpool but operates throughout England, Wales and Scotland.  We gained Charity status in early 2023.  Our purpose is the advancement of animal welfare, for the public benefit to relieve the suffering of Westies and Scottie’s in need of care and attention and in particular; to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals, and where suitable, The re-homing of such animals. We work with owners who may be struggling for a variety of reasons, to care for their dog, and to work towards the best solution for the welfare of the dog and his / her owner.
