Veterinarians for Puerto Rico is a non-profit organization, founded by Puerto Rican veterinarians. The initial purpose of the organization was to help organize and facilitate relief efforts for people and their pets in the most needed and underserved areas of Puerto Rico after the Hurricane Maria in September 2017. Now our goal is to address the stray animal overpopulation by organizing free to low cost spay neuter clinics and more affordable veterinary care to many underserved areas.
