Great Lakes Bay Animal Society is a foster home animal rescue. We believe that by mobilizing the caring power of our communities we can reduce the number of unwanted, neglected, and abused animals in Midland, Bay, and Saginaw counties in Mid-Michigan. Our all-volunteer organization: - Rescues adoptable animals and provides care and medical treatment to animals in transition through our Foster Program. -Ensures these rescued companion animals are placed in loving, permanent homes. - Promotes responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering for controlling pet overpopulation -Networks with and provides a rescue service for other shelters, ultimately reducing the kill rate in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
