Veterans Transition Network (VTN) is a Canadian charity dedicated to supporting Veterans and their families as they transition from military service to civilian life.
We provide free, evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health programs designed specifically for Veterans living with the psychological and emotional impacts of service. Our programs focus on healing from trauma, rebuilding relationships, restoring a sense of purpose, and strengthening long-term wellbeing.
VTN’s flagship programs use group-based counselling led by trained mental health professionals and are grounded in decades of clinical research. Veterans participate alongside peers who understand the realities of military life, creating a powerful environment of trust, connection, and mutual support.
Since our founding, thousands of Veterans across Canada have accessed our services—many of whom were unable to receive timely care elsewhere. Our programs help Veterans improve mental health, strengthen family relationships, and successfully reintegrate into their communities.
VTN operates nationally in both English and French and works closely with partners, clinicians, and Veteran communities to ensure care is accessible, respectful, and impactful.
Our mission is simple: no Veteran should have to navigate trauma or transition alone.
