We are a different kind of animal rescue - working to provide people and their pets peace of mind. As a small, volunteer based non-profit, your donation goes directly to the care of the animals. Our mission is assisting terminally ill people with caring for and finding new families for their pets. We interpret that mission to include those going into assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, and after the owner has passed away. We help older adults care for their animals by providing assistance with veterinary bills so animals can stay with their people longer, elderly animals don't suffer from treatable conditions due to lack of funds, and animals current on veterinary care are easier to place into future homes if the need arises. Animals surrendered to our care live in volunteer foster homes where families help them through the grief of losing their owners, while we handle all veterinary needs prior to the animal being adopted. While the animals are in our care, we provide frequent updates and photos and videos to the original owner or their families so they have the peace of mind of knowing their animals are safe and loved. We commit to supporting our animals for their lives, even after they are adopted.
