Creative Nomads is on a mission to connect, uplift, and educate youth and families through art, music, and cultural experiences—because we believe that creativity is a right, not a privilege. Our signature program, Where Art Starts, breaks down barriers to access by providing free and low-cost, hands-on workshops in painting, drumming, yoga, movement, crafts, and mindfulness. Led by Black arts facilitators who reflect the communities we serve, our programming helps families bond, youth build confidence, and entire neighborhoods thrive.
In communities where public art and creative expression are underfunded or overlooked, we step in—offering joyful, affirming experiences that center culture and community. Whether we’re drumming with dads at the park or painting murals that tell our stories, we’re building safe, vibrant spaces for connection, healing, and pride.
