About us
As the steward of historic woodland gardens designed by renowned landscape architect Ellen Biddle Shipman, Tregaron Conservancy is dedicated to rehabilitating the landscape, to ensuring a healthy plant and wildllife habitat, and to educating and inspiring our visitors.
We are engaged in ongoing work to steward, restore and renew our wild gardens, for the benefit of the public. Our park is open every day, free of charge. We have a maintenance crew and dozens of volunteers at Tregaron every week, removing invasives, maintaining trails, improving stormwater drainage, and planting largely native trees, shrubs and perennials. In addition, we have year-round free programs for adults and children, including bird walks, landscape tours, concerts, tai chi, forest bathing, and nature education and story time for kids.
We add Feature Views for every $ you pay.
Every $1 you chip in to feature Tregaron Conservancy gets them featured 100 times to help them get more votes and supporters.
