For over 25 years, Trees, Water & People (TWP), has worked to improve lives by helping communities to protect, conserve, and manage the natural resources on which their long-term well-being depends.We use environmental work to meet human needs in vulnerable communities who are on the frontlines of the climate crisis. Our programs support Indigenous and marginalized communities in the preservation of their lands, natural resources and cultural lifeways. They aim to create impact in 5 priorities: Dignified Livelihoods, Environmental Stewardship, Gender Equity and Inclusion, Indigenous Sovereignty and Youth Development. Local people are at the center of all our work, and building their capacity to improve their own communities ensures local sustainability is built into everything we do.TWP envisions a future where people everywhere have opportunities to engage in work they can be proud of, and that their livelihoods contribute to the wellbeing of their families, communities, and the planet.But we can't do it by ourselves. With your help, we can achieve tangible change!
