Tofu’s Dream World is a 501c3 foster-based dog rescue located in Los Angeles, California (EIN: 93-3974810).

We save at-risk dogs facing euthanasia from high-kill shelters throughout Southern California and place them in loving, qualified foster homes until a perfect forever home is found. Every dog receives full medical care and is vaccinated, rehabilitated and spayed or neutered before adoption.

Tofu’s Dream World was founded by Jen Dodaro, a freelance art director and longtime animal advocate. After years of volunteering with local rescues and regularly visiting and networking dogs in high-kill shelters, it became clear that California’s shelter crisis is far from over and deeply overlooked.

With Tofu’s Dream World, we’re committed to doing everything in our power to bring awareness to this crisis while pulling as many dogs out of it as we can.
