Toe Beans Cat Rescue is a small, foster-based cat rescue located in Rockland, founded and operated by Tabatha Martel. Known as "The Little Rescue Doing BIG Things," Toe Beans is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray, abandoned, neglected, and vulnerable cats and kittens across Eastern Ontario.

What makes Toe Beans special is its commitment to saying "yes" when many others cannot. From bottle-feeding newborn kittens every two hours, to treating severe medical cases, to trapping and spaying feral mothers so the cycle of homelessness can be broken, the rescue works tirelessly to give cats a second chance.

What Toe Beans Does

At its heart, Toe Beans believes that every cat matters.

The rescue is known for taking on difficult cases, including critically ill kittens, pregnant mothers in distress, and injured strays. Whether it's a tiny bottle baby fighting to survive, a frostbitten kitten needing surgery, or a young mother cat like Perle requiring emergency care, Toe Beans works hard to give every animal a chance.

The organization operates entirely through donations, fundraising, volunteers, and foster homes. Every dollar raised goes toward food, litter, medical care, spay/neuter programs, and helping the next cat that arrives needing assistance.
